On two wheels or three.
Hannah first came to Myrtle Beach to attend Coastal Carolina University in 2011. What started as a college chapter quickly turned into something more. During those years and in the summers the two lived in Ocean City, Maryland, biking everywhere from early beach mornings to late-night rides along the boardwalk. It was simple, carefree, and the kind of lifestyle that sticks with you.
Hannah grew up riding bikes with her family on vacations in Rehoboth Beach, while CJ’s passion for BMX turned into a career, starting in 2012 at Bethany Beach Bike Shop. That’s where he learned the ins and outs of the industry—but more importantly, how meaningful a great riding experience can be.
In 2015, CJ moved to Myrtle Beach to be closer to Hannah and turn that shared vision into something real. By 2021, that dream rolled into reality with the start of Boardwalk Bikes.
Since then, life has only gotten better—they’ve grown their family along the way, making this journey even more personal and meaningful.
Today, Boardwalk Bikes is all about helping you experience Myrtle Beach the way they fell in love with coastal living—on two wheels or three. Whether it’s a ride to the beach, a sunset cruise, or a quick trip for ice cream, those are the moments that turn into lifelong memories.
